Thanksgiving

I am so thankful for my family. Coming home for the holiday has been amazing and super relaxing. I honestly don't want to leave. The food was great, and the family time was even better. I miss this so much. For me, it is pretty difficult being away from home and in Kalamazoo. I have contemplated a lot about moving back and I am still undecided. Whether or not I do, I know that I always have my family's support. The trip has been amazing and I am thankful for it all.

Class on 11/21

Class on Friday was short and fun. I really enjoyed acting out the plays. Im also glad that I was able to get my grades and assignments all cleared up. I learned all of the different ways to write a play and to improve mine. I am looking forward to ending this semester with a good grade in class!

Snow!

Aside from fall, winter is one of my favorite seasons! The snow is finally falling and it won't be long before finals are over and winter break begins! I am not looking forward to the horrible driving conditions, but I am looking forward to hot chocolate, Netflix, and being around my family. Christmas is also near and I am so anxious for it. I love gathering with family and sharing stories more than anything. Sledding is another activity that I am excited to start! I plan on getting a bunch of friends together and going sledding then having a nice warm movie night. This winter is going to be so relaxing and memorable, but first I should think about getting through thanksgiving(;

Class on 11/17

Class on friday went very well. I had a few misconceptions, but they were all cleared up. After the in-class activity of reading the three poems, I found myself a lot more prepared to write my play. It gave me three different ideas of how I could structure it. I really enjoyed the partner assignment where we had to ask our friend for a gift. I had a lot of fun coming up with the most random things and just getting to laugh for almost all of the class. As of right now, I do not have any questions or concerns aside from knowing what my grade is.

My old girls!

This years basketball season for my team from last year has just started! Its so sad that I cannot play this year, but I would not go back to the high school days for anything! I have been in contact with a few of the girls that are still on the team and they said they miss me so much. Last year was such an amazing, eventful season. For it being my last year in high school, my team made it the best. I am not sure what this year has in store for them as far as record-wise because they are such a young team, but I am confident that they'll work hard! I look forward to coming to the games this winter and cheering them on while sitting next to coach. I also look forward to attended practices and helping them as much as I can. I miss it so much!

Class on November 7th

I could not make it to class on Friday because of the trip with my business fraternity, so as for an elaboration of the class discussion, I do not have one. The only thing that I can say is that I feel behind on some work and still know nothing about my grades or even my final grade. I am doing all that I think is write, even by emailing and trying to confirm it. I have a lot of questions and none are being answered. I look forward to the next class session so I can hopefully get some feedback.

IndianapolisTrip!

Every year the active members and pledges of Phi Chi Theta travel to a different city/state and tour multiple companies. This coming up thursday, we will be traveling to Indianapolis with the active members. We will be touring Finishline headquarters, Angie's List, and Monarch Beverage. As we will be exploring the different companies, we will also be roaming the big city. I am beyond excited to go because it is such an amazing opportunity to become closer with my fellow pledge brothers and sisters and most of the actives as well. I am also excited because we have the opportunity to branch off and do whatever we want on Saturday. I will be using this time to hang out and have a lunch date with my future sister-in-law who happens to live in Indianapolis. I am not able to see her a lot so I am definitely looking forward to this trip!

Class on Friday 11/1

Class on friday was not a good day. Everything was scattered and no one really understood everything. A lot of people are interpreting the directions as to how we are supposed to do things wrong. Personally, I feel that things could be a bit more organized. Also, I am pretty upset that we all did the two papers completely wrong. I feel that since everyone is so unsure of the directions, a rubric would help a lot. All and all, I am just very confused of what the expectations are on papers and at this point I am stressing because we still don't know how exactly we are doing in the class and what we can do to help our grades.

Basketball Season!!!!

I couldn't be more excited. Its that wonderful time of the year again! Its basketball season! The NBA is kicking off and soon high school ball will start! I can't wait to drive home to watch my old teammates dominate at games. I miss it so much and I am so sad that I can't play with my girls again. The game is so much fun, but playing with the girls made it so much better. I look forward to screaming and cheering them all on. I might even make signs! As for the NBA, I plan to make a few road trips and have so much fun at games again. Let the wonderful season begin!
